MKG Digital University began as a one-person mission. The founder has independently researched, written, published, and built the digital platform. This made it possible to create the foundation of the university, but building, maintaining, and distributing a large body of knowledge cannot remain a one-person responsibility.
The founder’s primary role is research, writing, developing the syllabus, and building the intellectual foundation of MKG. To continue this work effectively, MKG needs a functional committee to take responsibility for the work surrounding the content.
The committee’s role is to help build MKG as an institution by managing finance, fundraising, distribution, outreach, partnerships, administration, and other operational responsibilities. The committee will not have the authority to add, edit, rewrite, remove, or alter content published on the MKG website. The intellectual content, research, writing, interpretation, and editorial direction remain the responsibility of the founder.
However, the committee will have full operational authority over where, when, and how MKG’s published content is distributed and promoted across the world, without requiring separate permission from the founder for each distribution activity, provided that the original content and its attribution are preserved.
Finance & Fundraising — Develop sustainable financial support for MKG through donations, sponsorships, partnerships, grants, and other lawful sources of funding.
Distribution & Outreach — Distribute MKG’s books, articles, research papers, courses, and other published learning resources through appropriate platforms, communities, media, educational networks, and other channels worldwide.
Partnerships & Networking — Build relationships with researchers, educators, publishers, institutions, organisations, media platforms, and individuals who can contribute to the development and reach of MKG.
Administration & Operations — Handle coordination, documentation, planning, communication, and other operational responsibilities required to keep the platform functioning.
Communication & Promotion — Promote and communicate MKG’s existing work across appropriate digital and public channels.
The purpose of the committee is not to control the founder’s intellectual work, but to create the financial, operational, and distribution structure required to take that work to a wider audience.
The founder creates the knowledge. The committee builds the reach. MKG has reached the stage where the knowledge needs to reach people. That is why MKG now needs a functional committee to handle finance, distribution, outreach, partnerships, promotion, and administration, while the founder remains focused on research, writing, syllabus development, and intellectual direction.
